EL-CO-H002 belongs to the SHE family of Converters and Scalers. It converts the incoming HDMI in a SDI signal.
The conversion is “dot to dot” type and no scaling is performed, therefore the 3G/HD/SD-SDI output resolution follows the HDMI input resolution.
Be aware that the incoming HDMI must present a format compatible with the tight standard of the SDI broadcast signals. Besides, it must be YUV 4:2:2 encoded.
An HDMI input resolution of 1080i 50 or 59,94 Hz is recommended to avoid malfunctioning on the destination device.
